Energy for Life is the name of a corporate social responsibility programme, the idea of which is to include PKP Energetyka actively in promoting honorary blood donorship.

Honorary blood donation is very strongly rooted in the railway tradition. Recently, some of the company's branches have begun to rebuild this noble idea by forming Honorary Blood Donor Clubs. Employees in the other branches, as well as at the company's headquarters, also give blood although they are not members of the scheme. In order not to waste this socially important initiative, we have decided to give it the appropriate form and centralise the actions taken concerning it. We turned to the Polish Red Cross for help, and they are going to provide us with substantial and organisational support.

Energy for Life is a practice which implements the international standards regarding sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (ISO 26000). It is an example of social commitment and care for relations with the company's stockholders.
