Completed construction of GPZ Koksownia for Tauron Dystrybucja

The Łódzki Regional Plant at PKP Energetyka, in the consortium with E-mont, has completed construction of the 110 kV Main Supply Point for Tauron Dystrybucja.

The Supply Point (“Koksownia”) – constructed for Tauron Dystrybucja – is a project worth PLN 12.5 m (net). The project was carried out under the tender procedure announced by the Division of Częstochowa of Tauron Dystrybucja S.A., won by the Łódzki Regional Plant. The project was aimed at designing, constructing and starting up the Main Supply Point in Częstochowa together with the technical infrastructure necessary for operation and connection to the 110 kV network.

The substation was equipped with a 110 kV switching station in the H5 configuration, two 25/16/16 MVA transformers as well as dual fed 6 and 15 kV switchboards.

The construction of the 110 kV Main Supply Point has been the first such a serious project completed by the Łódzki Regional Plant for an investor coming from outside the railway sector. This is new experience, which will be used while completing further investment projects.
