Quality policy

ISO certificates

Since 15 April 2004, PKP Energetyka has held management system certificates for quality management (ISO 9001:2000), environmental management (ISO 14001:1996) occupational health and safety management (PN-N 18001:2004). The certification covers company operations in the following areas: trade, transmission and distribution of electricity as well as the installation and servicing of electric power systems and equipment.

The Integrated Management System Policy ensures achievement of the following goals: improvement of provided services based on the customer's current and future needs, implementation of modern organisational and technological solutions, creating an atmosphere promoting employee self-improvement, raising awareness of the fact that all the company's employees are responsible for quality of work, human safety and environmental protection.

In 2013, following a re-certification audit carried out by BUREAU VERITAS Certification , PKP Energetyka S.A. received confirmation of compliance (certificates) for its management systems on 18 June 2013. The systems included quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety systems in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2009, PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 and PN-N-18001:2004 standards within the scope of the following business activities: trade, transmission and distribution of electricity as well as the installation and servicing of electric power systems and equipment, production of power system components and power engineering equipment.
