During the debates within the European Economic Congress, one of the largest events of that type in Central Europe, PKP Energetyka S.A. was represented by Sales Director Grzegorz Grabowski, member of the Management Board.

In the period from May 14th to 16th, there was the fourth edition of the European Economic Congress held traditionally in Katowice. More than 6,000 participants, including 900 panelists/ participated in more than 100 discussions , on the issues that are the most crucial to economic and social development in Europe.

• E-mobility and new technologies – Discussion with participation of  representatives  of the automotive, electricity and public administration sectors related to the electro-mobility potential in Poland. Experts emphasised the conditions necessary for the development of e-mobility in our market, referring to the experience of other European countries.

• The energy market in Poland – The discussion was attended by representatives of the leading energy companies in Poland as well as representatives of the Chamber of Industrial Energetics and Energy Consumers, Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and Polish Power Exchange. The panelists  talked about the experience of previous years, which contributed to the present shape of this sector of the economy. They also discussed the determinants and barriers of the total release of energy market.
